- Baba could also be a sea bunny, due to the fact that many areas and levels take place underwater.
- On January 9 2021, the official Baba is You twitter jokingly suggested that Babas were born from tubers.
- The names of Baba and Keke were inspired by the Bouba/Kiki Effect.[1]
